  1. The owner of AFC Bournemouth (Bill Foley) has also acquired FC Lorient in Ligue 1, with Foley stating that AFC Bournemouth are to be the parent club, and FC Lorient the feeder club. This is shown already by the transfers of Dango Outtara (Lorient to Bournemouth) and Romain Faivre (Bought by Bournemouth, immediately loaned to FC Lorient).[1] One for the next instalment of FM, Foley has also acquired the licence to create a new A-League club in Auckland, New Zealand, which will join the A-League from the 2024/2025 season.[2] In the near future, Foley is also highly likely to complete the deal for other clubs, with Belgium & South America being two regions that there have been a lot of links with. Ultimately, Foley's plan is to create a multi-club business with AFC Bournemouth at the top of this tree, sourcing players from around the world with FC Lorient and the Auckland side being the first two clubs to become feeder clubs. There is also currently construction underway of a new £32 million state-of-the-art training facility for Bournemouth, which is due to be completed within the next couple of years, which will raise our training and youth facilities, it would be nice to have this under construction in the game and due to be completed in say 2027, as I believe there was a 5 year plan set out in 2022. [3] Lastly, with all of the above information put together, and taking a look at the last couple of transfer windows that Bournemouth have been a part of, in Foley, Bournemouth have an owner not afraid to dig deep into his pockets, and with minority owners such as Michael B Jordan, and the Chicago Bears owners investing heavily in the parent company of AFC Bournemouth, I believe it would be safe to say that the owners finances are better than "Okay".
