  1. The difference between current laptops is my wifes is Intel i3 2.2 GHz 6GB Ram 64 bit Graphics - Intel Graphics Family - Radeon HD6490M Windows 7 and mine is Intel core 2 duo 2.0Ghz 3GB Ram 32 bit Graphics - Mobile Intel 4 Windows Vista If issue is only processor then the two are not far off each other are they? I just want a laptop for playing FM2012 without issues. Reason for the Apple was to get away from "issues" with Windows.
  2. Thinking of going for an Apple MacBook Pro. http://www.johnlewis.com/apple-macbook-pro-md103b-a-intel-quad-core-i7-2-3ghz-500gb-4gb-ram-with-15-4-inch-display/p231656817. Not sure if I should splash out and get 8GB RAM and 1GB dedicated graphics card? I need to have a limit somewhere though regarding costs. Will this be good enough to run FM2012 for a long game? My current save game constantly crashes (10 seasons in - 341,000KB) on my 4 year old HP laptop (integrated graphics card and 3GB RAM), even in 2D. It runs OK on the wife's laptop which has a dedicated graphics card and 6GB RAM. NOt sure if the crashing is down to memory or graphics (runtime errors)? I have had to start a new game to be able to play. I want to make sure whatever I buy will be able to cope with a large game. Moving to Apple as I cannot get on with Windows 8.
