Should I be able to sign this player for his minimum fee?  Red Star are in the conference league.

This just happened to me too, I saved the game last night and quit then when I loaded it I hit continue and I realised it was taking ages to process and thats because I was on holiday!   I did notice before hitting continue that the game loaded into "game status page" not sure if thats significant.

I have this message throughout the second season too (first season in the Ekstraklasa).

Also my Second team don't have any fixtures and the manager doesn't arrange any friendlies.

Yeah, I've just noticed this issue too.  Annoying that a young player is now wasted for a season

Unfortunately not but it happened in multiple games, I had to go in to the tactics outwith a match and remove all takers then re-add them

I'm having similar issues in my game, a number of players getting unhappy.

E.g. Mbappe, out of 20 games;

started 13, 3 sub appearances, 4 missed due to rest needed (I informed him he was being rested for 2 of them)

It happening too often and ruining my save tbh, totally unreasonable behaviour

Another player, De Ligt and he has started 15 games out of 20.
