So yeah I am facing away to Motherwell in Europa League play off and completed all my 3 subs but a player of mine got injured and I can not replace him as I am out of subs. No issues there. However, after a draw, the game goes to extra time and you can do one more substitution in extra time. One would assume I could replace my injured player previous to the ET. But appereantly I can't. I can safely sub another person though.
I mean is there a real life rule where a +1 sub right given at extra time does not apply to someone who was forced to go out before AET?
