Guys, anyone have some tips on how to stop the players asking for extension every season? And how to avoid them getting mad everytime you turn down an offer for them? this thing drives me mad how unrealistic it is.
One players was getting 1 mil per year, still a young prospect, but after half a season he asked for an extension despite having like 4 years left and asked for 10mil! I know that SI make the game harder for us the players, but come on its ridiculous sometimes, also when you don't offer them the contract they get unhappy and want to leave.
Another thing, I've won Champions League 3 times in a row, having highest reputation in game, yet every time Barcelona or Man City shows interest in my top players, they get pissed because I turn their ridiculous offer down (player is worth 80mil yet they offer like 60mil, wtf is that?!) I mean seriously, it's so annoying to deal with these issues every season....
Never seen a situation irl when a club doesn't extend a players contract lasting for another 3 years, so the player cries and gets unhappy and wants to leave....

I'm going to try changing his role to an AM(A) to see if he improves and is less of a passenger, but are there any other roles that could fit or he just isn’t suitable for this formation?
im using a shadow striker role, find him a bit more active overall

I have ran into some problems with this tactic recently (your traditional mid season slump) so there is room for improvement. I got dominated by Kloppos direct attacking Arsenal but reverse-FM'd them to a 0-0 result. Onana the saviour with 18 saves.

I think I'll revamp this tactic a bit with lowering the mentality (inspiration from Cleon) and switching the HB to another role to give better midfield support. Also the iwb is now FB(s) with sit narrower PI. I also tried the Volante as a BBM in CM strata to get the iwb work like an iwb with mixed results.
The Trequartista is quite disappointing. I have an amazing player there but he doesnt make key passes or create chances and scores too little. I wonder if I can make him work like I want him to. He would probably work better in FM21. Maybe I'll get him some more space to manouvre with lowering the mentality....
Ive tried t10 and False Forward in a 4231 tactics and i way more prefer the latter, try it maybe it would solve ur t10 problems

Besides to me playing with updated squads feels somehow wrong. I much rather start at the place the team starts in reality without winter transfers and the likes.
That is just the way I see it.
you know sortitoutsi does amazing updates which all you need to do is download and place into documents? takes even less than 1 minute

Hi man,
Looking at this video I've created 2 formations, 1 vs better teams, and 1 vs easier opponens, I hope I got it right. The only difference is with TIs, PIs and some minor role changes in defence. I use poacher simply because I think it fits Icardi best, otherwise I would probably use a DLP or a CF.

well I've scouted atletico ingame before the patches got rid of the 'roles preview' and most of the time they either play counter - flexible or control - fluid/flexible like this:

GK Dthe midfield roles were changing quite a bit depending on the players available,

guys did any of you also noticed that since recent patches your team has like 20 shots and only 5 are on target? really pisses me off, no matter what i do and try it happens in most games :/
also my striker wont score :/ Icardi with like 19 finishing misses 100% ccc's one after another only has like 20 goals in 35 games :/

Depends on your striker and AMC roles and duties, and of course if you have them set to swap positions. Your fludity will affect this too.
What kind of issue are you facing regarding easy taps ins? Does it occur on specific phases of play? If you have specific problems then feel free to start your own thread and we can help you.
my lone str is a complete forward attack and my amc is attacking mid attack as well. I've never changed anything for them to swap positions, I actually dont think i've even seen this option anywhere. I've tried getting rid of it by changing my very fluid to highly structured and adding the be more disciplined and stick to postions.....this thing stops happening when I move the AMC next to the STR....

regarding keepers havent noticed any patterns and phases really, latest fix was meant to get rid of it at some point but really I havent noticed any differences, roughly 50% of my goals comes from tap ins, 48% from crosses, 1% penalties, 1% the rest...

guys is it just me or the lone ST keeps swaping positions with the AMC all the time.......
oh and keepers still tend to to be shocking after a save and of course the ball still bounces to the opposition for an easy goal...

as an Inter fan I'm not quite sure if this recreation is ideal. Maybe it was up until around mid season, so end of 2020. Conte uses his side centre backs to join into the attack and after recent games he most likely realized Inter plays best by playing counters as with Ac Milan, Lazio and Juve which is quite different to the above, also martinez is definitely not an advanced forward, he drops deep and plays aggressively and harasses players so Id use the pressing forward on support role for him, and perhaps pressing forward on Attack for lukaku. Also both barella and eriksen are mezzalas, they often move to the sides to cover up for the wingbacks pushing forward helping to overload the sides and join in the attacks
