  1. New update, includes a new 6th level, that simulates the argentinian regional division. New teams, new stadiums, and several minor changes. V.1.6 - http://www.mediafire.com/download/xt967rkysnlkyyk/Estructura+Argentina+V.1.6_B5466714-C91D-4B56-9CEC-42A29D7D8714.fmf
  2. Actually I think that regional boundaries, when you set groups, are defined by the lat. and long. of the stadium, not the club´s city....
  3. New update V.1.4 - http://www.mediafire.com/download/v85uur6vppv19y9/Estructura+Argentina+V1.4_3BA8A69F-576B-4580-8B09-A70D01D193F6.fmf
  4. I´m editing the Argentinina League and as default there are several weeks that there are 1 or 2 games on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, and I want to change that. In real life games are played from Friday to Monday, maybe 2 on Friday, 5 on Sunday, 6 on Saturdays and 2 on Monday.... In game, teams plays those days correctly but maybe 1 or 2 times in a months some teams plays on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. This is a problem because, sometimes, some of this teams that played on Wednesday, plays again on Friday or Saturday, 2 or 3 days after the last match and this is irreal and awfull to play. And if a team is playing a continental cup this is really anoying. I tried modifing the League Schedule on the stage sub menu... Adding dates, changing TV Dates... and nothing happened. And I don't see how could I set a range of days (from friday to mondays) and the time those teams are playing. Is there any way to change this? I would like to set each schedule manually if it possible... or put that there are none games from Tuesdays to Thursdays...
  5. As I do every year, here I submit the Argentinian Structure up to the level 5th It includes apart from First and Second division, Third Division (Primera B Metropolitana and Torneo Federal A), Fourth Division (Primera C Metropolitana and Torneo Federal B) and Fifth Division (Primera D Metropolitana and Torneo Federal C) The "Federal A, B and C" fixtures and structure aren´t accurate as real life because doing so makes that some teams plays just a few games in a hole year. I will be updating it with minor further improvements like average points relegation, Data Base improvemnts (regional groups in Federal Tournaments, stadiums, etc), Fixture and dates changes, real Copa Argentina structure and so on... Please report any problem or suggestion to improve this work! MEDIAFIRE LINK: http://www.mediafire.com/download/v85uur6vppv19y9/Estructura+Argentina+V1.4_3BA8A69F-576B-4580-8B09-A70D01D193F6.fmf
  6. What you need to do is to create each year separately I did this for the argentinian structure last year. So you hace the original configuration, for example "english first division" - You need to set dates for this one. The start and end date. After that you eed to create another league configurarion like "english first division 2016" start date as you want, and the new setting for this league.
  7. Sorry double post... bad connection and I'd clicked twice...
  8. you are right, Arsenal plays every time the supercopa. I´ll check it, thanks. Actually I need to upload again the archive because I think this one isn´t verifyied. However is weird because I didn't touch anything regarding the teams quilifications... Where you see 58 teams instead of 278?
  9. I solved it. The problem was with something about the seedings home and away. I put un "teams" to sort teams by reputation (to all items) and it worked.
  10. ARGENTINA COMPLETE LEAGUE STRUCTURE - 5 LEVELS 2015 by Bacorales As every year I did the complete structure for the Argentinian Leagues. It was pretty difficult to do it this year because the Argentinian Leagues changes next year (2015) so I´ve to manage them to recreate something similar in the transicion between the 2014 way and the 2015 way. Next season (2015) the First Division will have 30 teams playing each other once, and the only games that are going to be home and away, are the "derbys". Apart from that the tournament dates changed. Before this, the tournaments "year" were from July to July, and now are from Febraury to December... There going to be changes in the future, reducing gradually the number of teams from 1st Division, but nothing is really known and sure right now... Apart from that the structure is set like this. 1- First Division 2- Second Division 3- Third Division It has 2 sub divisions, the Primera B Metropolitana - teams directly affiliated to A.F.A (argentinian football association), and the Torneo Federal A (teams from the interior of our country, affiliated to de provincial associations) 4- Fourth Division It has 2 sub divisions, the Primera C Metropolitana - teams directly affiliated to A.F.A (argentinian football association), and the Torneo Federal B (teams from the interior of our country, affiliated to de provincial associations) 5- Fifth Division It has 2 sub divisions, the Primera D Metropolitana - teams directly affiliated to A.F.A (argentinian football association), and the Torneo del Interior (teams from the interior of our country, affiliated to de provincial associations) Apart from that I developed the whole Argentinian Cup, complete, as it is in real life. 2 eliminatory stages between teams from Primera D, C and B / And another same stage between teams form Federal A and B. The bests teams qualifies to a final stage with first and second division teams. Prizes were updated as well. Another modification is that I included relegations with the average points method form Primera B and Primera C as it is in the real life I update with improvementes each moth so check it! http://www.mediafire.com/download/r84se45ino1h1a6/Estructura_Argentina_2015_Completa_V.3_FD597F5E-A310-4EAB-87F0-F43453B4F4D6.fmf

  12. No beacause I cannot validate the whole league, so It won´t work within the game Yes, I tried that, I set min 32 / max 64 and works but wrong. I explain that in the first post... I did´t try Min = 2 but it could make any difference? I tryied using min/max number of teams (32/64) just to put some number and try if it works, and worked... but... - The Interior Stage and the Meropolitan Stage starts correctly, and ends with the 6 winner teams from each round. - If you check the "rules" it says "winners qualifies to the copa argentina final stage" so I think everything is correct with this 2 stages. - But, when the final round draw teams, only draw 40 teams, from first and second division. No one from the other rounds. - With First and Second divisions are 52 teams + 12 from the other stages, 64 teams; but the first round only draw 40 TEAMS... I don't know why...
  13. Here I attach some pics of what I'm trying to explain. Right click on them and use "see image" to enlarge. 1- Stages (it's small but you can see Stage 0 (Metr), Stage 1 (Fral) this one is the interior stage, and Stage 2 (Fnal) 2- Here is the Fate actions from Metr Stage - everything OK, winners qualify to stage 2 3- Fate Actions from Interior Stage (Fral) - everything OK, winners qualify to stage 2 4- Here the final stage setups Number of teams - 64 teams Teams - Here the teams qualified from each stage and from 1st and 2nd division. Requirements are OK also, I set up that stage 0 and stage 1 has to finish to start stage 2 5- TESTS Interior Stage TEST Interior Stage RULES Metro Stage TEST Metro Stage RULES FINAL STAGE - First Round (you can see that there are 64 teams, and everything is OK, but Winner team says "ALGERIA") After this, there's no second round... and I don´t know why the draws are correct and these matches are never played... I tryied everything and keeps saying that "wrong number of teams...." Could be a bug? Apart from this, when I use min/max number of teams in the final round the draws are set but with only 40 teams...
  14. I´m creating the Argentinian cup system like the real one and I´m getting a "wrong number of teams found for stage 2 of copa argentina" error. I set the cup with 3 stages. I've copied the system as the "English FA Trophy". This English FA Trophy, has 2 stages, one "North" stage and another "South" stage, that means that the teams from south plays all an eliminatory, same as teams from north (separately) and a determined number of teams qualifies to another round, called "combined", that it is a final stage which includes both stages finalists. In Argentina there´s a similar structure. From one side, there is a stage for the teams from the interior provinces, and another stage from the Buenos Aires metropolitan area teams - All of them are from Third to Fifth Division. After those stages finishes, the finalists qualifies to the final round, that includes the second and first division teams. Up to here everything is OK, I set the cup, I set the stages and the rounds of each stages. - The Interior Stage qualifies 6 teams to the final round - The Metropolitan Stage also qualifies 6 teams to the final round. - I set all fate actions correctly so 12 teams from both stages qualifies to the final round. - This 12 teams + First and Second division teams = 64 teams that plays a simple eliminatory to the final. The problem is that if I choose "number of teams = 64" for the Final Round I get that error. I tested and checked the cup within the editor's competition "Test" and you can see that the first round from the final round draw all teams but they never play, so 2nd round never starts... So, If I try the correct way, with 64 teams, the editor gives me the "wrong number of teams found for stage 2 of copa argentina" - and the number of teams is correct 12 from lower divisions 52 from first and second. And If I use less teams, the cup works but not using the ones that qualifies from the other stages nor 12 from second division...
  15. Ok, thanks I´ll keep trying, or maybe I will create an alternative system to make it work.
  16. Yes, that is set also. Here I send you my archive. Take a look of it please. It should be like this. Year 2014 - Starts at August 2014, Ends at December 2014 - This tournament is a transition one, so there´s no relegations between divisions. First division has 20 teams and in 2015 should have 30, so at the end of 2014, 10 teams should promote from Second Division. The 2014's tournaments are short (6 month) that's why 2nd division is divided into 2 groups of 11, is just a detail... Also, the new tournament in 2015 will start in January or February 2015 and Ends in December 2015, so from 2015 tournaments are played during all year (2015) Second Division, will keep 22 teams in 2015, so if 10 teams promote to First, another 10 teams should promote from Third Division. Third Division is divided into 2 Sub divisions in Argentina. I configure just up to 3rd division because 4th and 5th then will be easy to configure. I also set those 2 sub division with a very simple way of playing, beacause I only need to set OK the promotion/relegations. After that I start adjusting into detail. So, Third division: 3 teams promote from Metropolitan B Zone and 7 teams promotes from Torneo Federal A (to second division, total 10 teams) - Same thing here, 3 teams promotes from Fourth Division (metropolitan C zone) to Metropolitan B zone and 7 teams promotes from Torneo Federal B to Torneo Federal A - No relegation from 3rd to 4th.... but this isn´t a problem right now. Apart from all this, Argentina keep using average points system to set relegations. Apparently, the configuration (by default) between 1st and 2nd is OK and works fine, but when I try to use the same configuration between 2nd and 3rd, it gives me the error message. As I said if I configure it using "number of relegated... = 0" the editor says that number of promoted (10 teams) and relegated (0) doesn't match. Average point shouldn't be a problem I think, but I don´t really know this... If I delete this option (relegation options in league settings) leaving it unticked, it works, but in-game I saw that 2 teams from 2nd division has the "red lined" (the one that identify who is relegating) - and before January 3rd 2015 the divisions never starts... I've set 2015 and 2016 lines, as you mentioned. And everything looks OK, because when I untick the relegation options the editor keep simulating 'till 2017 and everything is OK, so the problem is just with the promotion/relegation of 2014. I'm not an expert with the editor but I can say that I have a goof knowledge of how it works. I´m starting to think really that this could be hardcoded or is a bug... Here I send you the archive. Maybe you should change lenguage. Thanks! http://freakshare.com/files/bf7l3t1k/Argentina-Structure-2015---Bacorales_E601D8F5-352E-490B-B9AC-A2EB51DE2F54.fmf.html
  17. All of that already done krlenjushka. Actually the Argentinian league is set up like that 1st division 2014, 2015 and 2016 - Same with 2nd division, and I created that with third division. Everything looks alright, I put same settings like the default ones used within 1st and 2nd - The only problem is what I mention, adding that in second division, there is something trying to relegate 2 teams... If I get trough that I think It will work...
  18. krlenjushka, thanks for you advice. Actually that option is active with 10 teams (the option is "number of extra lower division teams to be promoted") If I put in the Second Division options "stage/league settings/relegation rules" all to 0 - I get the promoted/relegated teams error But If I untick this option and leave it blanck I can check the rules but in-game, the second season never starts... so I´m close... Any other idea?
  19. Hi, I´m creating Argentinian lower leagues as I do every year. This year we have a very complex structure, beacause the tournaments changed and there´s a transicion tournament this year. The thing is that next season our first division will have 30 teams, (now it has 20). So, from 2nd Division promotes this year 10 teams, and from third division promotes 10 teams as well to 2nd, without any relegation. The problem I have is when I ran the test, I get the usual error saying that promoted and relegated teams doesn't match from 2nd division (0 relegations) to 3rd division (10 promotions) How can I configure this? I mean, how can I promote 10 teams from the lower league without relegating the same number of teams from the upper league? Actually this is set by default between 1st and 2nd division, 10 teams promotes to 1st without any relegation, and I didn't find anything changed/unusual within the promotion/rlegation options... everything looks ok, and I replicated that with 3rd division, but stills give me error message. Any suggestions?
  20. Hi Wenger6, I´m Newells supporter from Argentina. I can help you to recreate the tactic you suggest. The tactic "drawing" you put is pretty good. The difficult of this is to recreate it in FM. The basic strategy is a very controlled and patient play. Guzman always played as a sweeper, distributing the ball with short passes to the defenders. With GK ball possession, Villalba aways dopped back as a Central Defender, Heinze moved to left and Vergini to right. Casco and Caceres moved foward to the WB L/R with Bernadi as a DLP support and Perez could be a BtoB player or MC (he sometimes helped with transicion and sometimes moved foward, with good surpising long shots) Maxi Rodriguez and Figueroa played wide but cutting inside to help the foward moves from Casco and Caceres. Casco has a little bit more freedom to move foward than Caceres. I think Scocco played more like a false 9 than trequartista, he moved into chanels both right and left. Now, when rivals pressed foward, (Heinze, Vergini or Villaba) WB (Casco and Caceres) dropped back a little with Bernardi through the middle. So they tryied to pass the pressing through the sides. Guzman made goog middle range passes to WBs, and if they were pressed, they passed the ball back to defenders or Gk to start all over again, keeping possesion all the time. But if the rival waits within the midfield, Heinze ran foward to make some of the rivals to press him. Caceres or Casco moved foward too, so he had 4 or 5 options to make a short pass with taking out a marker, making a hole through the middle (don´t know if you interpret me) When Casco or Caceres moved foward, the L or R Winger cut inside as a Inside Foward or Advanced Playmaker. Because Newells lacked of a tall or good header in the rival area (Scocco is short and he always almost alone with 2 defenders), they rarely made a cross to the middle of the area, they tryied to play a short back centre, run with ball inside the area or made some one-twos. If they couldn´t, they played back again to the middle, always with patience. Bernardi was the brain, maybe compare him with Pirlo is too ambitious haha, he received the ball and pass, always to the feet or looking for short spaces, then he moved to another position and reiceve, then pass, all over again so he carried the ball and opened the game, and when a "hole" appeared he made the right through ball. Pressing was high (not very high) - the 3 fowards players always pressed the defenders or Defensive Midfielders, if they passed this 3 ones the WBs and MCs inmidiatelly pressed within midfield. So with this they forced the rivals to make long passes to fowards, having Vergini and Heinze as good headers to anticipate, and the WBs and Def Midfielder going back to help. I don´t know wich philosophy could be the correct one, I think players helped to contribute in all phases of play, as Fluid philosphy said, but It could be wrong to put a lot of creative freedom, as you said there are lot of specialist and could get more freedom than its need. Hope this helped you, any question just ask!
  21. Vienna, I tryied with all divisions, and there all the same. The only one that is hardcoded but works fine is Nacional B. If you see the last screen it also includes Primera B Metro (and Primera C, Primera D as well) - All of them has the same issue. The problema is that the game should read the average points relegations separated from the number of relegation teams. This is because the "number of relegated teams" in the relegation rules are specifically for teams that relegates from that stage at the end of the season (classic way, last teams relegates) - But if you put a number there and also configure the average points, they take both as relegations. Also the game register as relegations the first way, but the average points also works but is not registered anywhere in the game as a relegation, those teams simply changes division. It's a bit complicated to explain but I'm convinced that the problem isn't that the primera and nacional b are harcoded, the bug is between the relegation rules and the average points rules.
  22. I keep trying and I found a "half" solution to this, but it's not solved at all. I configured average points, modifying the lower position to 20 and the upper to 18. Then I eliminate the relegation rules from the league settings. I simulated a season in-game and the relegations happened but It looks like the game doesn't recognize/record them as "relegations" - I mean, last 3 teams in the average points table relegates but: 1- They never get the "R" letter next to the teams in the table (R of relegated), 2- In the competition screen, rules, the relgation rule is not listed in any row. 3- When season finishes, at season's summary, the relegations aren't shown. It looks like the game accepts to set the fate of the relegated teams but it doesn't record that anywhere or something like that. Ítem Nr1 - They never get the "R" letter next to the teams in the table (R of relegated) - Average points table - last three (18th, 19th and 20th are gone, this is normal, is completed with promoted teams when new season starts) imagen - The "R" letter never appears (you can see that "C" letter of champions is there) share image Item Nr 2 - Relgation rule is not listed in any row. subir imagenes Ítem Nr3 - When season finishes, at season's summary, the relegations aren't shown. sube That's all, I´ll keep trying but I think this is an editor's issue...
  23. Thanks, both stages set to relegate 3 teams works, I also tried eliminating relegation rules on league configuration and setting at average points, what seems to me to be the correct way, (lower position 20 upper position 18) and worked fine simulating a game, but still there is a wrong detail, at season summary doesn't appear the team who relegates. Also in the window of competition rules, it doesn't show the rule saying "last 3 of average points table relegates" I guess that it worked but it doesn't recognize it as a relegation, I don't know... I'll try your hint! Average points had problems at the very begining of the game but with some updates I saw that now works better or at least you can set the option and appears within the game (when the game was released this doesn't worked at all)
