  1. I've played close to two seasons now, and I've seem just way too many long range lobs go in. The goalie stands 12-18 yards out when the striker gets a through-ball, the striker lobs from 30 yards out and it's an "amazing" goal. Happens all the time.
  2. Playing FM2013 today and suddenly thought of a couple new features that would be superb if added into the game. - When you want to scout a certain player, find a game and watch the match like you do now. But - enable "Scout PLAYER". This should show only the situations in which this player plays a direct role, or he has the ball. - Enable "bench cam" where you watch the game from the bench and not on a TV-screen or even from a helicopter.

  4. Hi, a few days ago I tried to link up with a friend to play a versus cup with our teams, but we were unable to find each others game. He as using mac and I was using a PC. Do they not work together?
  5. You really need to get rid of the training system. You left us with no control what so ever! It's probably OK for the FMC, but for a full game where you're supposed to be a manager with control over the club, it's insane that you can't control training - the most important part of success in modern football!
  6. I hate it. I don't understand what's supposed to be good about this system. reminds me of manager games from the 90's!
  7. Match-view from the bench Would give you an incredible feeling wouldn't it? Seeing your new stadium packed with supporters, the crowd going wild when you score.. Seeing the action from a close. Besides, this is a manager simulation game, isn't it? Why are we watching the game from the stands or even on the television if we're the manager? Players retire and reach end of contract I play with Roma, and in 2016 Totti decided he would retire after the season (July 1 or something). His contract was due to expire June 30, but if I tried to renew the contract he would only accept player+coach. And at that time he was quite horrible, so I didn't really want to pay €20k per week for a mediocre coach and horrible player. When his contract came to an end, he left the club and the fans was devastated that he wasn't offered a job as a coach. Same thing with Zlatan Ibrahimovic who I had signed for free a few seasons back. Also, I was removed from their favored personnel, and Zlatan even got listed in my "Worst opinion" list. They were due to retire, what was I supposed to do? Contract negotiation Always let us offed a contract. Always. If any player was offered to triple his current wage per week from a club he would at least consider it. Also, on more realistic grounds, let us have a more sophisticated chat with the agents during negotiations. Also, the agent too often demands higher wage for his player. Like with my young right back who signed a €30k per week deal in december, and in july the next year he demanded a new contract even with 4 years remaining on his current... THe chat with the player is normally ok, and he drops the wage hike, but even then the agent keeps nagging, and it leads to a fierce dislike over time, making the next, and REAL contract negotiation very much harder. Chat with players during the break(matches) If a player has picked up a knock, let us ask him how he feels. If he think he'll perform as good as normal, or slightly worse. And what will decrease? The pace? The jumping? The Strength? This is vital information that we should be able to get. Let us read comments on the referee after the match Yes, you can read it in the post-match, but sometimes I forget and then I remember that situation that costed us the game. Since the actual challenge is very hard to see, like the hand ball, pulling shirt etc we kinda "need" a good summary of the referee's calls during the match. Even though this is of little value it's always good to have someone to blame:p Stadium capacity not being used because of empty seats in away-stand I've wanted to build a new stadium ever since I came to the club. However, this is never granted because we don't fill the stadium. BUT that's not really "my" fault, cause the home stands are often very close to full, BUT the away team has gotten the whole north-end, only to use just a 1/3 of it. This happens way too often. When I was in Swansea, my stadium capacity was built up to a solid 64,000 by 2024 and the away-fans only got a small fraction on the north-east stand.
  8. He came through the academy. And to Rikulec, when I say mediocre I'm referring to the fact that he only has a 2-star potential rating. I'm seeing if i can take him to a 4-star just by using him frequently in the first team and train extra on those certain skills:)
  9. try this link instead then http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/7485/alexfava.png
  10. I've recently been playing with AS Roma for a couple of seasons, winning the Serie A four times in a row, TIM Cup twice and this year I reached the Semi final of the CL before going down 0-4 to Man Utd on aggregate. Before the last match in Serie A I'm two points behind AC Milan who seems to be winning this year... I've been buying young talents rather than developed players, but I want a new challenge. I wanna know what you think about it. My youth intake gives me a good amount of talent every year, but I haven't really got a good striker yet. Therefore, I want to make one. I've laid my eyes on this guy: His name is Alex Fava, and I see a huge potential in him. Although his overall skills aren't great, and the assist manager only sees him as a possible 2-stars player, I think I can develop him into a Serie-A top goalscorer. This is because of his determination and also a couple of decent stats on the vital needs for a striker First thing I'm gonna do is to train him into those preferred moves that I like, such as placing the ball and playing killer balls. Next season I will give him 5-10 serie A games while still on youth-training schedule. If he performs well that number will increase. This will boost the development a whole lot. He will be getting extra training focus on finishing and speed, changing every month or so. I will let him be tutored by Rodrigo on the pitch as he is a really good poacher, and maybe also a regen i bought from Man Utd for £5mill who have scored 20 goals since january, including a hat-trick in his debut could help him out. How good do you think this player can become? Is it possible to take a quite mediocre player with high determination and make him into a world class player?
  11. Is this possible? On my save he's co-owned between Roma and Parma. Won't he automatically be going to Parma if their "blind-auction" bid is higher?
  12. How much will I have to bid to make Borini 100% AS Roma?
  13. Seems like the A-team and the reserves doesn't get along! 13 yellow cards in such a match is just bizarre.
