    FM17: Fulham FC - COYW

I got around 24m for promotion but after losing Martin and Parker retiring, it took me hours to try and build a team capable of staying up. Can't remember all the transfers but I've won 5 of my first 8 games and I've signed Sergio Romero, Yaya Toure on a free, Anthony Knockaert, Guillermo Varela and a few others... Proper wheeling and dealing but it looks to be paying off. Toure is just a monster.

I'm hoping to make that step tonight so I'll be sure to fill you in regarding budgets. Who did you sign up for the second season?

    FM17: Fulham FC - COYW

I started at Fulham around November time and I have to say Martin as CF and Cairney as a Roaming Playmaker are immense. I started in the relegation zone but finished in the playoffs and I'm 3-2 up after the first leg against Norwich. I'll provide screenshots of the tactics and Jan signings later today. I sold Ream and replaced him with Jonas Olsson making around 2.5. I also signed Jacob Murply and Junior Stanislas as inside forwards who have supported Martin well. Martin scores nearly every game for me. His pace or lack of is really the only issue with him. Otherwise I'd try and get him in permanently. Cairney will be my captain next season and I don't plan on ever selling him. He's a beast! Sessegnon and Pablo Maffeo on loan are my attacking fullbacks and Parker is playing as an anchor man and doing really well. Hoping to get them up and then do some minor surgery for the first season back in the Premier League.

FM16 - Who wants to do what thread?

Hey mate, unfortunately I'm in the middle of hell with work so I won't be able to commit but I can try and help out if needed. I'm City mad so might be able to assist with some like squad analysis etc... Apologies!

Do I need permission or should I just crack on?

FM16 - Who wants to do what thread?

As a massive Man City fan, I did debate putting something together.
  7. Every other team in the Premier League has 2-4 players out plus a couple of suspensions, but all of my injuries seem to be long term, and as you can imagine, it's pretty frustrating.
  8. The injury situation on this game is completely ridiculous. 6-7 first team players injured at all times. Haven't messed about with the training regimes atall, is this my fault or a glitch? I can barely pick a full bench at present and it's just going on and on.

FM14: Southampton F.C. - Gatecrashing the top table

I've got Gallagher on loan second season as Barbosa is an absolute demon! 13 games/9 goals! Ryan Gauld is really coming good second season and Ramirez can't get a game at present. Vidic and Nastastic has both been out for 3 months so Murillo and Balanta really did the job well! Qualified from my champions league group after 4 games as well, got Olympiakos, Schalke and Valencia and won 3 of the 4. Got beat away at Schalke 2-0 and that's my only loss so far this season, I'd put up screenshots but I'm not sure where the best place to host them is?

FM14: Southampton F.C. - Gatecrashing the top table

Hi Folks, Just about to start my second season with Southampton after finishing 3rd last season, won 24 out of 38 games but struggled in the cups. Had a very very hectic few transfer windows and my team is now looking like this: GK - Begovic RB - Clyne/Chambers CB - Murillo/Vidic CB - Balanta/Nastasic LB - Shaw/Davies CM (DLP-D) - Ramsey/Schneiderlin CM (BWM-D) - Wanyama/Barry AMCR (AP-S) - Lallana/Ward-Prowse AMC (T-A) - Ramirez/Gauld AMCL (AM-S) - Rodriguez/Hughes ST (AF-A) - Lambert/Barbosa As you can see, some major wheeler dealing over the past 12 months or so, really tried to get a lot of great young players while blending them with good experience. Lambert got 28 goals in 38 games first season, Ramirez got 10 and Rodriguez for 11, so they supported him well. Will Hughes is next level and I'm trying to play Gauld-Hughes-Ward Prowse together as often as possible against the smaller teams I'd expect to beat. Transfer business overall looks like this: In Will Hughes - 12m Ryan Gauld - 7m Asmir Begovic - 15m Jeison Murillo - 10m Matija Nastasic - Loan Aaron Ramsey - 30m Eder Balanta - 10.5m Stefan Strandberg - 2.2m (now on Loan at Hull for the second season to make room for Vidic) Ben Davies - 9m Gareth Barry - Free Nemanja Vidic - Free Gabriel Barbosa - 7m Out Jack Cork - 2.4m Dani Osvaldo - 16m Dejan Lovren - 5.5m Steven Davis - 875k Many of the transfers have fees over 36/48 months which while slightly risky has really paid off first season and with the additions of the likes of Barry, Vidic, Nastasic, Basbosa and Ramsey season season, I'm hoping to stay in the top 4! I'll keep you posted how I get on!
  11. Is there going to be a FM14 thread for the mighty blues then?

    FM13: Tycoon Saves

I've love a crack at this mate!
  15. I've got a bid in for Hernandez but they want 9m, so I'm just having a look around before signing him up, could do with someone who's going to get me 10-15 goals over the course of the season, but might be able to find someone cheaper. Thanks for all those recommendations as well, I've had Lamela before and he's class!
