Another bug.

If you promise a player that they can go at the end of the season/next transfer window, they game tells you that you promised to sell them after signing a replacement (which is different to what you agreed to)

Hi,

When signing a player for the first time, there is an option to give the player a signing on fee.

This is (as far as i'm aware), meant to be an upfront payment paid in full and out of the transfer budget.

However, the amount becomes a loyalty payment (that is paid over the life of the contract) NOT a signing on bonus as labelled on the offer screen.

Note this isn't a new issue and has been something that has carried forward at least two editions of football manager.

I'm begging you guys at SI. Please give us an option in the in-game editor to turn off forced board sales. 

It's ruined so many saves for me and i'm just so sick of it

I won't be buying any new editions of football manager until this is done as I just don't feel like playing the game until this is fixed. Thanks

Apologies if this is a stupid question but

I'm wondering if there is a column you can add to your squad screen that says if a player has English nationality or not

I know you can show first and second nationality, but occasionally a player might have England as a third nationality. 

There are also players from Scotland/Ireland who count as local under these purposes but don't show as English

The issue also affected the last save overwrite backup at the time

It doesn't effect other saves
