  2. Sounds like it might not have updated properly. When you load the editor, you should be given a choice of which database to load. Is this the case for you?

  7. Hi again, djole. I probably should have noticed this before, but your graphics card is actually under spec. I had wondered whether this was the issue but the fact the game runs fine seems to make this unlikely as it's more graphically demanding than the editor. Do you think it could be possible that your anti-virus software is conflicting with the editor download? This would be especially possible if you run avast, aviria or AVG (and maybe even Norton).

  9. Hi guys, indeed it looks like the Player Data panels have been removed. I can't think of any reason why this would be deliberate so I'll pass this onto the dev team for review. Cheers for the info.
  10. Hi James, Which players are you attempting to offer DP contracts to? It's possible the board is not deeming them worthy of a contract that large. I couldn't be sure without a save game, so if you still believe there to be a bug in the game, could you please leave a post in THIS THREAD? (I'd just deal with the issue here, but it's extremely hard to track issues outside of the appropriate bug forums). Cheers, Henry

While it is possible to load editor data files created using the FM13 Editor in FM14, we cannot guarantee that everything will work correctly as cross-compatibility is not something we really support. As with every release, fundamental changes to the data may cause some edits to fail in the new game.
  12. Hi Scannelljim, thanks a lot for the feedback. Glad to see you've given MLS a go. I wasn't 100% I understood your point about International Slots, but if you view your club's Transfers -> Clauses screen, you will be able to see what International Slots you have traded in and out of the club at present. Does this solve the problem you were having? A guide to help 1st time managers in MLS and some way of equating value on the various trade elements are interesting suggestions we should definitely consider for future versions.

  14. Hi guys, As the post above me correctly points out, '-1' indicates no transfer activity. '-2' then designates "limited" transfer activity.
  15. Hi again, guys. I have just been through all the requests since my last comment in this thread and passed on the suggestions that hadn't already been brought up. There were some good ones in there once again. Even this one This is the only thing I've comes across that I'm not clear on. Could you please go into a little more detail for me? What I don't understand is how this would differ from being able to create State Championships in Brazil - which I believe is currently supported in the FM13 editor via the Secondary Divisions tab. Thanks, guys.
  16. If I were to change Lionel Messi's name to "Jimmy Messi" in the editor, and for whatever reason that change failed, he would just appear as Lionel Messi in the game.
  17. For the highlighted aspect of this suggestion, does searching by both City & Nation at the same time not accomplish what you are trying to do?
  18. I'm sorry, I don't really understand this one. Couldn't/wouldn't you just assign the stadiums to the specific teams in that league to accomplish this? Or are you wanting some functionality so when a team gets promoted from Division B to Division A, that start to use Stadium 1 instead of Stadium 2?
  19. Hi there clemo, I can confirm that using an edited database will exclude you from the leaderboards, yes.
  20. Hi there, 1) This is not currently supported in the editor. It's an extremely common request (and one that I would very much like to see as well) so hopefully we will be able to implement it in future versions of the game. 2) Unfortunately, dynamic league sizes is also not supported in the current editor. You need to have the same format for every season, I believe. 3) Subdivisions within subdivisions is also a request which was recently submitted for the editor. The possibility of including this in future versions will be reviewed at the end of the year. 4) If I've understood correctly what you would like to see is playoffs between sub-divisions, yes? If so, again, this is a request which will be reviewed in the near future. Hope that helps, Henry.
  21. Hi guys, thanks to everyone for your suggestions. There are some really good ones in here. I believe I've gone through them all and forwarded all the new ones onto the dev team, so we'll be able to review their plausibility in the near future. The only one I struggled with was: While this is a nice idea, I'm not sure it's possible as I don't believe it's strictly true that newgens are created using templates. There are aspects of newgens which are determined via templates, such as Ambition, Controversy etc., and these are now editable via the 'Nation' -> 'Information' screen. However, newgens are generated dependant on so many factors that I don't see how there could plausibly be a simple, settable field in the editor that could deal with them properly. Sorry about that.
