It has 2 GHz processor and 2 GB RAM which is decent, but the game runs slow between dates when it is processing matches etc. Can anyone help? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ediocy Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 Here are a few things you could try. Make sure FM is the only application running. Defragment your harddisk regularly (preferably once a week). Tick the "enable threading" option in preferences should help if you have a multi-core processor. If you are using Windows Vista, running the game on Windows XP compatibility mode might speed it up slightly. (Right-click on your FM 2009 desktop shortcut and go to the "Compatibility" tab. Tick the option "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select "Windows XP" from the drop-down menu.) Turn down the detail level in your game. Click on "Options", then "Detail Level" and turn down the detail level of as many competitions as you can. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
