Michel's OVERPERFORMING Girona 4-3-3 Tactic - FM24
https://youtu.be/2V3-TjQqwdU

Michel's Girona tactic is a tactical approach employed by the Spanish football club Girona FC under the management of coach Michel.

The tactic is characterized by a possession-based, attacking style of play that focuses on dominating the game with ball control and creating opportunities to score. It is based on a 4-3-3 formation, which consists of four defenders, three midfielders, and three forwards.

In possession, Girona looks to build from the back by playing short passes and maintaining a high tempo. The four defenders form a solid backline, with the left full-back pushing forward to form a double pivot in midfield and support in the attacking phase.

The right full-back tucks in to form a back three when in possession.

The midfielders act as the link between defense and attack, with one holding midfielder staying back to provide stability while the other two midfielders look to provide creative passes and initiate attacks.

The front three forwards are the primary goal-scoring threat for Girona. They are versatile players who can interchange positions and create confusion among opposition defenders. They look to exploit spaces, run into channels, and make incisive through passes to create goal-scoring opportunities.

Without the ball, Girona adopts a high-pressing system, aiming to win the ball back quickly. This aggressive pressing is designed to disrupt the opponent's build-up play and force turnovers. The team puts significant emphasis on defensive organization and compactness to counter opposition attacks effectively.

Overall, Michel's Girona tactic emphasizes controlling possession, creating goal-scoring opportunities through quick passing and movement, and adopting an aggressive pressing style to regain possession swiftly.

Please watch the video and provide any feedback on the tactic.
