FM23 Unemployed Challenge

(This save is something I just came up with, so I'm sorry If this first post looks a little rough around the edges.)

 

The Aim:

To win the Top Division and Champions League for the first team that hires you in the Job Center.

 

Rules for Challenge:

First team you start with is the team you finish with, unless you get sacked

NO In-Game Editor of ANY kind

You must have your manager be Sunday League reputation and No Coaching License

If you are sacked, you must start again.

You are able to use leagues not found in the regular database, but besides that, no editing the database with the Pre-Game Editor

International Management is Allowed

NO save scumming

Please keep us updated, even if you're not performing as you wished

2022-23 Mid Season Recap

Guilsfield FC

12th in JD Cymru North

 

Overview:

We were originally 15th when I took over the job, and in the relegation zone. I mention that cause now we are in 12th and 5 points away from relegation. Not great, but still better than getting relegated

 

League Table:

Not great, but ok enough. Only issue is that we're in debt, so I can't make any signings.

 

Squad:

Pretty Top-Heavy squad in my opinion

 

Tactic:

I use a 4-4-2 Diamond Narrow, it works decent enough.

 

The debt is a major problem, so we'll have to see if I'm able to fix it at some point. Anyway, that's about it. I didn't make any transfers, as the window was closed. However, we now enter January, so I'm hoping we're able to reduce the debt and eventually win promotion at some point.

Season 1 Recap

9th in JD Cymru North

 

Overview:

We ended up doing even better, finishing 9th place in the JD Cymru North. Honestly can't be mad.

 

League Table:

I decided to sell some players, however we're actually better than we were before table wise.

 

Squad:

Pretty much the same as last post, except with a few mediocre players gone.

 

Tactic:

I'm still using the same tactic, so not much to comment on

 

We now enter the end of the year. Now with our debt gone, hopefully now we're finally able to get some players onto the team.
