Season 6 De Bruyne Retiring, but ....

Hi, I wonder if anybody can help me, after season 6 managing Man City, Kevin De Bruyne has told me he is retiring "but wants to remain at the club" (I imagine in some kind of staff position) - however, in FM21 when I promoted Kyle Walker (after his retirement) to assistant manager I lost "Taxi" whatever his name was, - I don't want this to happen with De Bruyne (fine though he is) - will he just be in the background somewhere when he says "he will stay on at the club" - or will I lose a member of staff I don't want to lose?

Depends what his role is going to be and if you have space within your staff limits.

If no space for whatever role your giving him you'll have to choose to get rid of someone or not hire him as staff.
