President wants counters

Hello all. I play the touch version on the Switch, am now in the third season with Mainz 05. The president has now required me to play counter soccer as a culture. So far I have been playing offensive pressing (won the season twice) and have selected the option to play counter-attack in the  instructions. Now my question: Does this also count as counter-attacking or must the tactics template also be called this? Or can I trick by adjusting the counter soccer template so that it is named that way, but I can still play my successful pressing? Or does the president want me to stay more defensiv?

I don't know how Touch works, but I believe rather than tactics, the board looks at in game stats such as shots, passes etc.
