SI should allow players to choose the type of affiliate club at the initial 'request' stage.

Without this being in the game, the only chance you have for getting a specific 'type' of affiliate club (e.g increasing profile in another country) is for the club to reject your proposal, and then for you to convince them with your specific requirement. This does not make sense. You should definitely be able to choose the reason for asking for the affiliate. Without it, the board only seems to bring up lower tier clubs for you to send players out on loan.

Thank you for taking the time to input your suggestion. This has already been raised and so is part of our internal database of features to consider. It may be rejected or end up in a future version of FM after further development. Currently it is by design that you can't immediately make these requests however when you have a high enough board confidence the board are more likely to ask you for recommendations
