Ecstatic Doncaster fans thank Sackfield As a side which doesnt often hold out hope of winning the English Third Division, the Doncaster Rovers players and fans will be understandably ecstatic at having finally won the compettion for the first time since 1969. Fans are adamant that Daniel Sackfield IS the man they have to thank for leading the team to glory. Hull must feel down as they were in second place untill the final months of the league where tehy seemed to lose tehre way as Cambridge and Southend grabbed the two promotion places. A well done for Cheltenham for getting promoted via the play-off route. Commiserations(sp) go to Macclesfield and Darlington. They found it hard to stay in this division but i am sure tehy will bounce straight back. Wish all the Promoted teams a safe pre season and a good Division 2.
