First some info about the club i choose to manage.... Balzan Football Club is a Maltese football club from the village of Balzan, which currently plays in the Maltese Premier League. The Club was founded in 1937, and has played top-level football once before in 2003–04. I choose them because their colours reminds me Arsenal :-P... K Sherlock Posted January 23, 2017 Author Share Posted January 23, 2017 Season 2016/2017 summer Europa league 1st quilifier draw St Patrick athletic from Ireland...Good draw but stil they are favourites.. Tactis and transfers for the first game Koli is my first and only transfer until now a strong CENTER BACK... EL 1ST QUILIFIER 1ST LEG Big away win and now we must finish the job in our home,Effiong was best player with 2 goals EL 1st quilifier 2nd game 0-0 and we are for first time in EL 2nd quilifier!! Next this happened... He was great in first matches,huge lost for the team... EL 2ND quilifier draw Hacken a much better opponent..Anyway we will fight.... 1 GAME They scored their chances we didnt and a bad result.... 2 game We was much better in 2nd game we didnt deserve to lose... At least we took some Money!!! Well it was a good start in Europe now we must concetrate in league and cup... SEASON ODDS Second favourite for the title Valeta ofcourse is the first...Well thats it until now i hope you enjoy it.. Next update in mid-season for club and national team.... K Sherlock Posted January 24, 2017 Author Share Posted January 24, 2017 MID SEASON 2016/2017 Huge battle with Valeta!!!Great first round with only 2 draws but Valeta is tough opponent,we have 2 points difference and the win against them.. Transfers Herrera on loan from birkikara my 2nd transfer.. National team... In world cup quilifiers we have 3 defeats and a great win away in SLOVENIA!!! Stats after 1st game against Slovakia Slovakia wasnt better but they scored their chances and we didnt ours,against Lithuania we were just awful but then... Still i cant believe it!!I made some changes and use some fresh legs,Slovenia didnt have good fitness and we did it a great away win... After that the game against Giants...England.. We lose but with great performance and with possesion 51-49 for us... 5th in group and 17 places up in World ranking.... Also Aston Vilas borg join national squad Thats all until now.... Badget for next season and ofcourse Champions league!!!! In cup we lost from Hibernians in quarterfinal I am in Maltas hall of fame and in funs hearts.... Balzans best and injuries... Regens this year were very bad... NATIONAL TEAM Next game was against Slovakia and Massive win 4-1 i couldn imagine it better!!We were the best team in field and win!!6 points in group after 5 matches.. Maltas funs were excited World Ranking after this win Huge step up 39 places!!! Next matches against Scotland for quilifiers and a friendly against Albania in June... Bad performance against Scotland and a good one against Albania next game away in Lithuania.. Maltas teams in Europe this year VALETA HIBERNIANS BIRKIKARA Great away result for Valeta against Celtic... In other news Mifsud retired and now is Maltas U19 coach Very good new league rules more teams and less games from 33 now we are going to play 26!!! League's and Balzan's new european rankings... K Sherlock Posted January 28, 2017 Author Share Posted January 28, 2017 SEASON 2017/2018 SUMMER TRANSFERS SEASON EXPECTATIONS Champions league 1 quilifier draw Imps Gibraltar champions 1st quilifier results 2 easy wins but a bad injury... 2nd quilifier draw.. Maribor.We are outsider but we can make it CL 2nd quilifier 1st game WE were lucky in first important minutes and we took a great result!! 2nd quilifier 2 game,the most important game of the year!! We made it!!!!!!!!Solid defense and effiong was on fire!!!I didnt expext it this was our first year in CH!!! 3rd quilifier opponents.. FH or Valerenga the best draw Aek the worst... And we have a trip back in my country Greece...Nothing to lose,much more to win... 3rd quilifier 1st and 2nd game They was waaaay too good for us at least we took the draw in home game MONEY... E uropa league possible opponents Only with Young boys we could do something.. .................. El play ofs 1st and 2nd game... Same results like Aek...Excellent result in Germany.... MONEY and bank balance Excellent European season and now back to cup and league competitions.. Season odds This year we are the favourites... National team Next world cup quilifiers games against Lithuania and Slovenia Another great result we were better and we took revenge for the first game...9 points in group and we have hopes for the second place!!! CUP Shirens make the surprise and we are going to face them in final... Odds for cup final 1.17 to lift the cup!!! But my squad looks more like a hospital.... Cup final... We start great the game with 2 goals in 5 first minutes.and at least we lift the cup and we are in next season EL quilifiers... Season best transfers Regens this year Only a spanish guy looks good Miguel Angel... Board announced training facilities upgrade and budget for next year It was a bad year for the club in league at least we lift the cup and we save the year.... National team: Some friendlies and european nation division draw was very difficult (Georgia,Kazakhstan and luxembourg.... Maltas team in Europe... Transfers Also Apoel is our new senior affiliate..And we loan papafotis from them... Season expectations El 1st round draw jeunesse esh from luxembourg EL 1st quilifier results A win 2-0 and a lost in luxembourg El 2nd quilifier draw Ausrian Sturm Graz a strong opponent Also Uruguay want me but i am loyal to MALTA... 1st game Team focus in defence in training and we took a 0-0 draw in home 2nd game Excelent second game end we are to El 3rd quilifier!! NEXT... Slovan liberec 1st ad 2nd game Well our defence was awful....And back home FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON...
