I think this is an issue, or it may be I don’t understand the transfer release clause system. Basically there’s a player I’m interested in for £76m, but I can’t afford it right now so I want to buy the player at the end of the season. However, when I change the transfer date from “next available” (ie now in this summer transfer window) to either “End of season Spain” or “End of season England” the Green exclamation mark showing the release clause disappears.
This I don’t quite understand, as I’m matching the release clause (but at the end of the season).
I’ve enclose a screenshot of his contract, where the release clause can be seen, and 3 more showing the clause being met (now) and not supposedly being met (end of season).
As I’m say, I’m not sure if this is a bug or whether it’s actually a real life fact/situation I’m not aware of.
