  • Wage issue with loaning players

    I had a loan bid accepted for Eden Hazard. As part of the deal I agreed to pay 60% of his wages. It was accepted. I was then forced to negotiate with Hazard in the same fashion as I would if I was trying to sign him permanently. There was no way around this and I had to cancel the deal. He wanted £4 million signing on fee.

    It does sound like its a loan with a mandatory signing in the agreement. I'd suggest double checking to see if this was the case if you're able to do so.
