Was recommended by my coaching staff to release a player who wasn't good enough, I agreed so tried to release him on a free. The board blocked it due to there not being enough transfer budget - makes sense.
I then added him to the "unwanted list" as "sell or release". Hit continue and I get an e-mail saying that "after several failed attempts to find a potential club, a termination package of £500 has been negotiated with the player"...
So the exact thing that the board blocked me from doing, they allowed my director of football to do the very next morning, makes absolutely no sense.
Very similar to another issue I logged where I couldn't offer any youth intakes youth/amateur contracts but as soon as my DoF tried to, they all signed them. Very frustrating, even more so considering my DoF has negotiating of "3" so as far as I'm concerned, that means "useless".
