Playing as semi-pro club Middelfart in Denmark's 3. Division, and one of my fringe players approaches me to discuss possibly leaving. I'd like to keep him around as a back up, but no matter what I say he immediately leaves the club - despite often saying he's happy to stay, as he owes the club that much.
As he's on an amateur contract I appreciate he can leave if he wants, but it contradicts him saying he'll stay. Plus if I don't discuss the issue with him, he stays.
Possibly more of a text/interaction issue than a bug, but feels worth flagging.
Steps to Reproduce
- I have uploaded a save game called "Heeris issue.fm"
- Save game will load on the Mon 17th Apr 2023, 17:15
- In the inbox is a news item "Potential issue with Heeris"
- From that, choose to 'Discuss Issue with Heeris' and follow any string other than agreeing to let him go immediately
- Advance the game and get a news item saying he's been released
