Background: I am playing as an English team in the English football pyramid.
I purchased a foregin youth prospect, David Balcarek (ID:2002613081) and loaned him out to Cardiff to gain "Nation trained in" status.
He has made 19 appearances for the club in the league, EFL League One.
Balcarek was born on 13/1/2013. His transfer was arranged at the start of the transfer window on 9/6/2031, when he was ~18 and a half. When he is signed, he is eligible to become homegrown:
However, once he is loaned out to Cardiff, he loses all of the eligibility criteria:
Cardiff's own homegrown players are qualify for, and start earning days towards England under "Nation trained in" so this shouldn't happen:
Expected result:
If you go to the Overview -> Information -> Eligibility tab:
- There should be bar under "Nation trained in" showing an England 15-21HG section.
- There should be bar under "Nation trained in" showing a Wales 15-21HG section.
- There should be a bar under "Club trained at" showing Cardiff 15-21HG
Issue:
- There is no bar under "Nation trained in" showing an England 15-21HG section.
- There is no bar under "Nation trained in" showing a Wales 15-21HG section.
- The player will no longer be eligible to qualify for homegrown status after he returns from loan.
This is an issue because it made my loaned out player lose the ability to become homegrown for registration purposes.
To reproduce:
- Open "eligibility check-balcarek1.fm"
- Move forward a day to 9/06/2031 and David Balcarek is signed
- Go to David Balcarek (ID:2002613081)'s Overview > Information > Eligibility
- Observe that he is eligible under "Nation trained in" as well as "Club Trained at"
- Loan him out to Cardiff on a season long loan
- Observe that he no longer qualifies even though Cardiff is in the English football pyramid/all their homegrown players count as trained in England.
