In my save as Jianxi, I finished 3rd in the Super League and should have qualified for the Asian Confederations Cup under the following condition: "If club in Champion's League Qualifier doesn't lose and drops down into this competition". Somewhere midseason, the Asian Confederations Cup was added to my Competitions tab, as expected, and roughly three weeks before I was to begin, it disappeared. Looking at the groups, Shanghai Port was included in one Confederations group, despite entering the Champion's League Group Stage from winning the CSL in the previous season. They are currently scheduled to compete in the Group Stage of both competitions. Beijing Guoan, finished second in the previous CSL season, won their playoff to gain entry to the Asian Champions League Group Stage, but are also enrolled to play concurrently in both continental competitions.

As I understand it, I (Jianxi Beidamen) should be in the group stage of the Confederation Cup along with Chengdu Rongcheng who finished 4th, but Beijing Guoan won the Chinese FA Cup. Both teams are currently excluded from the competition. I did not find any evidence of this happening in other seasons. I have upload the save to Own Cloud as "Dual continental competitions.fm"
