Not sure if this is the correct place for this, but in game it says the above player has retired from the Icelandic national team in 2018. His last cap was in 2021, so he's still available for selection.
I've posted this also in the Greek League section as the player is currently playing club football over there. When it comes to players and their international teams I am not too sure who would make the changes in the game.
