Thanks for the reply, however, the final update has never been advertised like that, since it's inception for FM20. An example in 23.4, which also dispels that, is Chris Wilder being in charge at Watford, an appointment which was only confirmed two days prior to Parker's departure.

Will Parker's departure be reflected at all in the very final update, covering the Chinese window?

I'm affraid not, as al modifications are pending. Only things related to Chinese competition get processed.

I understand it's not quite clear what the updates are intended for, but the last real mods for Europe are in the winter update.
