This might be a personal problem because of how I play the game, but I noticed it last year and it's still there. It might be intended, but it seems like a bug to me.
When I set-up my tactics for a match, I prefer to do 'Next match only' and change some things up for the coming match. This however does not register properly when it comes to post-match things. In the match itself I have no problems, everything is set out as intended, however after the match questions arise in several parts.
To give a clear image of what I'm doing:

In the upcoming match I'm playing a certain team which makes me want to change some things up, resulting in me pressing 'Next match only' and starting to change things up resulting in the following:
This problem has layers, because it affects several parts.
Manager profile:
It tends to show that you have no second preferred formation, if you use this method to change Tactics. Which honestly isn't a big deal but I thought I should mention it.
Schedule:
In schedule it shows that you used a formation you didn't use for 1 minute, as if you've changed it at the start of the match. I do really like this functionality in general, as it shows that you've used different formations (because it gives you information at a later date what you might have changed and for how long). I imagine that through the data center I can also find more information about this (which formations I've used, how succesfull they've been, etc.).
Press conferences:
In press conferences you will get asked about why you used player X as in position Y (which you didn't do). In the example case with the formations they will ask me why I used Dallinga as an Inverted Winger, and if we could get used to seeing that, when it's something that hasn't happened in the match, but it remembers that because in my normal tactic, the second striker is an Inverted Winger.
