  • Can’t use my surname

    Was just starting up my career, input my surname only to be told the name “Downie” is forbidden. I can understand why people would find it offensive but was wondering if there was any way I could use my name in the game?

    Was there ever a solution to this? I have encountered the same issue on Football Manager 2023, with my first name "Tore" being marked as forbidden. I have no idea in which language "Tore" is considered a slur/curse-word in, but putting it mildly, this is is very annoying and there should be a work-around for this.
