    Hi,

    When I go into settings and try to sign in to Google Play, the screen fades briefly but nothing happens. I have a Samsung S10 for info. It is also the same on my Asus Chromebook.

      Settings>View>Google Play Games & Social Networking> Sign In

    Hi both. Thanks very much for flagging this.

    Could you confirm that this is a general Google Play issue rather than specifically related to Football Manager Mobile?

    Hi Jake, it seems to only be an issue with Football manager mobile, I can sign it with other google play

    Can you try the following for me?

    • Open your device's Settings app.
    • Tap Apps and notifications and then See all apps.
    • Scroll down and tap Google Play Games.
    • Tap Storage and then Clear storage.
    • Re-open the Play Games app and try to sign in again.

    Have just tried but still not working unfortunatly.

    I click sign in, the screen darkens & then ignores it.

    Any other suggestions?

    Do you have multiple Google accounts set up on your device? If so, please try the following:

    • Launch Google Play Games (can be installed from Play Store if you don't have it already)
    • Select [Settings] - [Change account for games]
    • Select [Change] next to Football Manager
    • Select [Ask each time]

    I only have one account on my phone. Any other suggestions?

    The only other suggestion I have left is if you uninstall the current updates for Google Play Store. Settings > Apps > All Apps > Open Google Play Store > Tap the 3 dot menu > and click uninstall updates. Once this has been completed please reboot your device and let us know if this works?

    Still no luck unfortunatly.

    Are you only having this issue within FMM? Does Google Play Games work for you when trying another game?

    It is..only FMM22

    Even FMM21 works.

    Literally only this game.

    Yes, other games work - DC Legends working perfectly.

    @SSolas thanks for all the additional information. Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions or workarounds. I'm going to investigate this further. I'll be in touch as soon as I have any further update on the issue.

    I am part of the BETA as well. Do not know if this helps or may be related to the problem?
