  • Spanish clubs' wages on long term

    Holidaying a game (in this case, 8 years) where the Spanish Liga Santander is not a playable league wields an unrealistic wage bill for all clubs even for Real Madrid's or Barcelona's standards. Attached are the screenshots for the relevant teams, that sees even Europa League sides or lower easily awarding contracts of over £300k per week to their star players, even though they are average players in a world class context.

    Digging even further, I found that there are 74 players in this database's world that are on £300k a week or more, 2 play in the Premier League, 6 play for PSG and a staggering 66 come from Spain. The Spanish league's finances need investigating.
