  • Premier League Teams Don't Get Additional Substitutes in Champions League Games

    I played as Man U vs Atletico in a Champions League game. Atletico subbed off 5 players. After 3 subs I received a message that I couldn't sub off any additional players.

    The official rules are that while you can make 5 subs, you can only do it at 3 different intervals.

    So you could sub 2 players at 55:00, 2 players and 75:00 and 1 player at 90:00.

    Does that sound like what the issue was? :)

    Sorry for the late response. I tried to make 4 subs (having not made any the whole game) just after the 75th minute, and I couldn't make more than 3.
