Almost in every match there is different substitution limit. One game 3 one game 4... So I dont know the limit before I reach 3.

In this match my opponent made 4 substitution but I could make only 3...

    Ive attached screenshots.

    Thanks

You will be allowed to make 5 subs, but only on 3 stoppages of play.

For example, you can make 2 subs at the 60th minute, 1 on the 75th, and 2 on the 85th.

    However, you wouldn't be able to make 1 sub on the 50th, 55th, 65th, 75th and 90th.

I didn't know that 3 stopppages rule, thank you.

same problem here...playing a Carabao Cup quarter final and I was allowed 3 subs and my opponent made 5...

didn't matter how many times I tried, or at what times...

I had only made 2 stoppages for my subs, a single sub, then later a double, but could not get any further subs at all

Is it possible there was another stoppage in play you made perhaps without there being a sub attached?
