  • Can't use additional sub in ET for player forced off in 90 mins

    Exactly what it says in the title. If you are playing a match which goes to extra time, let's say a cup final, and you are forced to remove a player from the field as they are injured when you have already max'd out your subs, then when you gain an additional sub in Extra Time you cannot use that sub to replace the player forced off injured.

    I'm assuming this is a bug rather than a rule which means you can't use that additional sub for a player forced off in normal time? I don't know of any irl examples

    • Steps To Reproduce:
      Play in a game that provides an additional sub in Extra Time > Use all your allotted subs > Have a player forced off injured > Draw and go to extra time > Try to remove the injured player

    In this instance I honestly don't know what the rule is. I've even perused a few referee forums to see if there is an official establishment of this but it doesn't seem like there is. QA will investigate further but personally I'm unsure of the rules regarding this.
