I was searching for players with contracts set to expire & found Jordan Rhodes, as well as a few other players. I offered them contracts & they accepted.
A few days later, despite already agreeing a contract with him, an intermediary suggested Jordan Rhodes to sign on a free. Didn't think much of it because I'd already offered him a contract but once the signing went through, I was advised I had to pay a fee to the intermediary who had suggested him - despite the fact I'd already negotiated with him myself?
