After completing the first season of a save in MLS, I was able to make transfers/renew contracts from the end of the season December 10-December 31 2023, then when the foreign transfer window opened on January 1 2024, I got the transfer restriction pop up again for the A-League/MLS real world first season and was unable to make any transfers/renew contracts like how it was when the game was started despite the first season being completed.
