I spoke to a player about his recent form...cut the long story short, in the meeting I said if he wasn't going to listen to me I would transfer list him. So I did. Then straight away the player wanted to meet with me again to ask why I transfer listed him. The opening statement from him was '...if you want to get rid of me say it to my face'...
1) We just met about being transfer listed...why on earth is there a second meeting straight after the first? Makes no sense. Those discussions could happen in the exact same meeting.
2) 'say it to my face'...I did say it to your face! Makes no sense!
