  • Impossible to play inside and high.

    Am i the only one player who cannot have his team play trought the middle and high ? 

    I play with barcelona and i only have intelligent and technic player. I'm tryin to emulate the pep's Barca of 2011-2012. So it's a 3-4-3 diamond with Messi as false 9 and Fabregas on top of the diamond who was like an attaking midfielder on attack. Messi touched a lot of ball deep and fabregas touched a lot of ball too but he's main focus was to attack space behind the defender. Iniesta-Messi-Fabregas-Xavi-Busquets obviously were the player on the pitch who touch the ball more and of course in the middle of the pitch. On the final third too. The wingers were just here to stretch the pitch and attack space behind the defensive opposition line. 

    So as you can see on the passmaps it's look like it's impossible to play high trought the middlle and having relation on the pitch with the " technical player ". Even with the right traits my Trequartista touch at most 25 balls. The circulation of the ball is always really deep on the pitch. 

    It's a big game i won, but not the way i wanted to win it. Yes it's chelsea in front and they press high but it's nor normal my defenders just play to the other defender or pass the ball to my winger. My player in the middle should be able to ask the ball and play it inside. 

    Please can you fix this? We could be able to play inside with beautiful football.

    @MarioFcn still an issue for you or found a fix? Seems like noone has looked at this issue either... I'm wondering if it could be an issue with first touch and decision-making of attacking players compared to how well the opposition enables themselves to get back into the correct position to block or intercept passes...

    I have discovered that my wingers (IF) often takes a lot of heavy touches and ball travels a shorter distance of their foot when moving with the ball or receiving a pass - I wil try to get some examples

    But also how they evaluate passing options is either move the ball towards one of the flanks or a back pass - Rarely do we see those through balls like in FM23 between the DC and FB wher the IF moves into channels...

    Despite my team has the most passes in the final third in the league, I'm troubling to retain and keep possession high up which ends in quickly counters where the opposition runs with the ball and my players running next to him..

    P.S I'm not saying it's anything wrong with the passes into the middle as it might be a case of player roles and team instructions but there are several things in this ME that puts people off from playing FM24...

    one of these things are high passing accuracy of opposition and the feeling of a lesser opponent can play like Man City
