Tactics change & automatic subs

Same thing has just started happening in my game, I’m 2 1/2 seasons into a new game and all of sudden my assistant is making tactical changes as soon as a game kicks off. What’s going on! 

Update to this - now removed 2 tactics from the tactics screen so only 1 available. Only changing being made now to tactic is the mentality which always goes to balanced from my usually positive. I change this in the default screen but always reverts to balanced, only stays changed when I click into the tactics screen and change.

 

Additionally, substitutes continue to be made in first 15 mins, usually with a start player coming in, often 2 players at a time!!

 

Have sacked my assistant manager but no change.

 

Really not making the game very playable and don't want to stop this save if it is a compatibility issue!

Can we please a REC file from a match where you have noticed this, along with a save file from before the match took place.

Have attached a REC and PKM from my last game. The save file was uploaded to the SI Games ownCloud and is called "Ryan Bartley - Nordsjælland fm24 SAVE GAME for upload.fm"

Instantly the mentality was changed to balanced and the formation was altered, together with some players being swapped. No substitutions were however made. (will upload another set once I have another game with subs automatically made)

Hopefully this will enable you to find the issue.

I am using a custom skin - Tato - but this issue also happened when I tested it with the default FM skin.

Thank you. The mentality change happens every game in first few seconds, the players and formation change is a regular happening but subs not happened in the last few games I've played. Will upload the files when this happens again.

Had a classic example of my issue and remembered to save before! All of my recent errors had tactics and mentality changing after the first minute - when this happens I usually then go into the tactics tab and load the tactic I started the game with and that seems to 'clear' the issue.

 

For my most recent game vs Lyngby - attached are the files of the game (and save game called "Ryan Bartley - Nordsjælland fm24 SAVE GAME for upload_v2") the substitutes issue occurred.

 

The tactic and mentality was changed after a minute. I didn't change this and after 15h, 17th and 19th minutes the AI made a substitution for me, which is the most I've seen - it is normally 2 at most before I then change my tactics.  After the third sub I changed my tactics.

 

Hopefully this helps find the problem??

Thanks for taking the time to log this and post this.

I've taken a look at your issue and I have some good news for you. I was able to reproduce your issue and then fix it by simply deleting your "Match Plan". That's all you need to do and everything should go back to normal. If this doesn't fix it please reach out again but that should work.

If you can remember, do you mind sharing exactly how you set the match plan up and how long ago in your save you created it?

Wow cheers @Jack Sarahs that's an embarassingly easy solution!

 

I created the match plan in fm23 so must not have transferred over correctly. Was only meant to be for second half of games (usually friendlies) for me to end the match (instant result) and any changes to happen when I'm winning - to substitute low energy/tired players. But thank you so much for this - didn't realise there was another one in there automatically either. 

Does seem to be a few things not correctly transferred over to FM24 from FM23 - lots of coaches don't have tactical styles; scouts don't have their knowledge shown at all on their world maps; and the scouting map isn't correctly populated when current scouting coverage. But your fix for this had made my day, thank you :-)
