This defending is a farce, Unnless you babysit them the defending is all over the place, at 17 min playing Bayern vs Leipzig. My defender line up inside the pentalty area no one picks up De Ligt. There is 4 men there thats only doing zonal marking and because not told otherwise dont get the idea of picking up an unmarked opponent.....
At 32 min, same again..... Since you dont babysit them they all zonal mark inside the pentalty area and Vanderson gets to stand on his own outside the box with all the time in the world.
And like FM23 ballwatching defenders or complete illogic behaviour still there,
Real Madrid vs Leipzig 30 min Debast runs out to close down Rodrygo on the edge of the box, rydrygo crosses the ball back in. Debast then just runs back into the center of the box despite there being a 6 vs 4 and a little bit later 4 vs 4. And he just leaves Rodrygo alone on the edge of the box. So when the ball comes back out there Debast is way to far in to make it back out and stop him from run in and place a shot in the far corner. Makes no sense for him to drift back in, at least he should stay far enough out to be able to close him back down.
At 34 min Angelino becomes a ballwatcher. He seem to have no control of over Rodrygo at all. Rodrygo is making a move up the pitch and Angelino response is to run across in front of him and into the middle of the pitch instead. When Rodrygo keeps running up the pitch behind him he crosses bit backs towards him and runs parallel with for a bit and then just turns back to own goal and stops. Then turns around and tries to catch him with him as he gets the pass, but by then its too late and Rodrygo crosses easily into box in front of him.
