I had queued up a doubke sub of my left back and cdm, my left back was already on a booking, in the next highlight my left back gave away a penalty. The text for the subs popped up before the second yellow/red card popped up, so the player was both sent off and subbed off, I continued to play with 11 players.

to recreate this bug, you would need to have a player about to be subbed receive a second yellow or possibly even a red card.
I suggest you need to change the order subs happen and cards are given in a tick of the match engine
