  • Fired from the Japanese national team despite 100% victories

    Hello,
    I was the team manger of the Japanese national team and I have been fired because I failed to qualify to the 2034 FIFA World Cup qualification (AFC).
    But this is not true!
    I won all the matches and I came first in the qualifying round. But, since the 2034 World Cup will take place in Japan, which is therefore rightfully qualified as the host country, my team is disqualified in favor of second-placed Lebanon, and I get fired!
    The game thus believes that Japan failed to qualify simply because it already is by right.
    I therefore believe that this is a serious bug that needs to be fixed.

    Hello @enrico.kikko

    The reason this is happening is because you are playing as Japan, which is not a country you can normally play in FM due to licencing reasons. 

    I'm guessing you have edited your game so that Japan can be playable.

    As such the game is not letting you qualify for events.

    This is something we could possibly fix in the future but not in FM24 as this is a custom related issue.

    @Zachary Whyte, thank you for your feedback.

    I hope you can fix it in the future; I usually make changes with the editor and use the Japanese championship. In the future I would like to be able to play it without having these types of problems.
