  • JFL to J3 promotion issues and homegrown rules FIX

    Just making this post to point out, that it would be better and more realistic to disable promotion from JFL to J3 as there are team, like Honda FC, that would have to undergo huge changes to apply to J3. Changes that the game isn't prepared to replicate. Also, as Dosukoi raised in an earlier thread, Homegrown rules are necessary for Squad Registration not rules for matches. This is just making stuff up and is hugely immersion breaking.

    Please fix these 2 big issues as they are the biggest immersion breakers of the J-League in FM24.

    In regards to the first topic, to be honest I see this the opposite way. Having no club promoted to J3 at all just because a few can't, seems very unrealistic. We don't know if Honda, or any other team for instance, will decide to acquire a license in the future.

    The second topic instead is pretty important indeed and if FM can't fix it someone should release a corrected DB, because the impact of that mistake would be quite big.

    Promotion from JFL to J3 requires

    ・professional status

    ・average 2000 visitors per game

    ・average €60k ticket income per game

    ・stadium capacity of 5000

    There are some clubs which meets the requirements but does not have the will to join the professional categories such as Honda.

    So instead of getting rid of promotion, it might be better to check these requirements when season ends.
