24.3 update changed every contract below the third tier (first national amateur division) to amateur instead of the right part/full time contracts

As the division is named, these are amateur teams.

Contracts at individual basis are not at hand. If you can present me official data par player, I will modify where necessary.

 

These aren't amateur teams, but I think that's a semantics issue.

As you can read in the Wiki article for the Belgian third tier (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgian_National_Division_1) (but this also goes for the fourth tier (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgian_Division_2) etc) the names used to be "Belgian [tier] Amateur Division", however, they because of the negative connotation (and confusion for a football simulator, apparently) of the word amateur, the Belgian football federation renamed it back to "[tier] national divisions" in 2020.

Where would I find official contract data per player? Can't you just restore whatever was in the original database when the game launched? Why would this have been removed all of a sudden in the first place?

not on Wiki sources. ACFF/Voetbalvlaanderen Book B/Title 3/ Clubs & Title 7 / Competitions. If proof given of individual teams being sth else I can modify on that behalf.

Just reverse putting everyone below third tier on amateur contracts, I have no idea (if you did it) why this was changed for the winter update. Belgian researches had done their jobs well enough with the previous contracts in the OG database.

Again, The leagues are amateur leagues. Teams are amateur teams. as Belgian FA sources, guideline books of clubs & competitions specify. 

Individual players can have pro contracts, but no data available upon that.

This won't be reversed, unless you can prove me on inividual teams that they are pro teams. Upon valid sources, (no Wiki or TM).

 

 

Feels like I’m talking to a brick wall here, whatever dude, I’m not going to do your job for you. None of the players above fifth tier in Belgium are on an amateur contract as FM interprets it (i.e. any club can swoop in at any point during a season to sign them). Just boggles my mind this was suddenly changed when it was fine for years, even decades of every fm release. Feels like someone with 0 idea of the Belgian football pyramid swooped in and did their own thing without discussing this with any Belgian researcher. I’ll just find a community made database (if they can be bothered rectifying this cock up).
