I holidayed through the first year in my save and started unemployed so get all the notifications in my inbox about managers being hired/fired. Upon advancing for a week or so, I realised I kept seeing "FW: Juul reunited with Lyseng" pop up in my inbox and thought to myself "Wait, didn't he just get hired the other day?"
Sure enough, his career milestones indicate he's been "Hired as Lyseng manager" 50 times in 5 months, but Lyseng's manager history page makes no mention of him ever being appointed, whether that be any of his 50 permanent manager appointments from 29 December to 1 June, his interim manager appointment on 12 November or his caretaker manager appointment on 21 October. I'm guessing this might be something weird with him currently serving as the club's DoF and HoYD and it's not clearing him from those jobs and can't also give him a third job as manager so it's stuck in an endless loop of trying to appoint him every other day?
I've got saves at the beginning of each month, so if you need me to upload one from October/November/December (before his appointments started) to investigate the issue further then let me know. The save I've uploaded from 1 June 2024 will see an email pop up later in the day on 1 June announcing his appointment as permanent manager for the 50th time, and that replicates consistently. It seems as though another manager applying for the vacancy (as I did at one point to see what'd happen) breaks the loop periodically, otherwise he'll be stuck being "promoted to the role of manager" every two days.
