    Subbing players by clicking on their names during a match results in only 3 subs being allowed.  Subbing them via the tactics screen however allows 5.  Note that you can sub two players by clicking on them as long as the third, fourth and fifth are done at the same time in the tactics screen.

    Hello, while you can make five substitutions in a match. You need to make those five subs within three match stoppages (not including half-time), so for example, if you quick substituted three different players say at 50 mins, 60 mins, 70 mins, you would have used up all three of your match stoppages and so will not be able to make your remaining two.
