When you are awarded a penalty, the game will ask if you want to use the scheduled player or choose an alternative. This works as intended the first time round.
With any subsequent penalties awarded in the same match, the game will ask the same question but the scheduled player will be different. Regardless of what option you choose, even if you use the player list and select them from there, the game will assign a random player to take the penalty instead. The most recent time this happened, the game ended up selecting my backup right back to take the penalty.
