So I've seen this fix has worked for someone else who had this problem.

Go into your phone settings, then Apps, then find Google Play Store.

Clicking storage & cache and then clear cache.

Restart your phone.

Try again.

Damn, sorry to hear that. Will it let you install other applications? As I think its an issue with Play Store rather than the game. Is your Play Store up to date?
