Sunstrikuuu Posted November 30, 2014 Share Posted November 30, 2014 Anyone had trouble with players seeming really, really slow? Specifically wide and forward players. I've been playing primarily as Aston Villa, who have Gabby Agbonlahor. Dude is crazy fast. He's got an 18 Pace stat. He also just got chased down from behind by Per Mertesacker. More broadly, it seems like it's tough to put forwards in positions to exploit their pace, even against much slower defenders playing a high line. I'm seeing a lot of a player receiving the ball one-on-one with a defender high up the pitch, with lots of space behind and to the sides and slowing down, letting defenders catch up. It's entirely possible this is caused by tactics (which would be a problem in itself; literally all I'm trying to do is release fast players into space), or by players with low Flair or Dribbling or Aggressiveness or Decisions or some other stat.
