Playing GK as an outfield player

Hi,

I wonder what would happen with the development of a young promising goalkeeper if he keeps playing as a defender?

In my U-21 team there are not enough players, so U21 coach regularly puts up to 4 goalkeepers in the starting roster..

The problem is that normally playing players out of position will reduce their moral. In addition to this if the coach is playing 4 GK in a starting lineup they aren't likely to be winning many matches so that would also reduce it.

I can only see them develop in their physicals that might be useful otherwise still not doing much good.

The best thing to do would be to just pick the U-21 team yourself and then you can play your high potential youth players and get them some match experience. You could also just loan out some of the GK's so that you don't have so many .
