team talk at half time

at half time, i changed my gk from Foster to Mandanda, i set team talk to please for all, after the match, i checked the team report,
for Mandanda, his morale boost and looked delighted during half time (but he did'nt play a single minute, i mean haven't enter the second half.
is this consider right?)

Maybe he was so happy because you said you were pleased with him, but he hadn't even played any football. Surely any player would be happy if a manager said that (although they would also be slightly confused and assume the manager is starting to lose it a little )
